QPR Preview

Coventry City aim to make it three league wins in a row at Loftus Road on Tuesday night after the excellent weekend triumph at Stoke City.

QPR have also been in good form of late and continued that on Saturday in Luigi De Canio's first game in charge.

Vital Quotes: Tim Flowers

'Robbie (Simpson) is out for the foreseeable future. It is a blow for us because he has been doing very well.

'But on the upside Leon McKenzie started training again last week and he looked very sharp.

'In a perfect world he would have played in a reserve game first, but he may well travel.'

Queens Park Rangers Team News:

Rowan Vine's loan spell from Birmingham ended at the weekend with reports on Tuesday suggesting the R's had moved to replace him with Chelsea youngster Scott Sinclair.

Player to watch: Akos Buszaky

The Hungarian playmaker was signed from Plymouth last week and made an immediate impact against Hull on his debut.

Coventry City Team News:

Leon McKenzie and Andy Marshall are back in contention after injuries, Robbie Simpson is out.

Player to watch: Michael Mifsud

The Maltese star is halfway towards netting 20 goals this season.

'When we first came in he was converting probably one in four or five chances but this season his conversion rate is a lot more ruthless,' assistant manager Tim Flowers told the Telegraph.

'His runs are a little bit more intelligent but like the rest of the strikers, he has still got to see that final pass which perhaps slips a teammate in with an easier chance.

'But, nevertheless, he has been in outstanding form of late and is a major threat.'

Match Facts & Stats

Arriving at the ground on the tube didn't upset the Sky Blues last season as they won 1-0 at Loftus Road thanks to a Dele Adebola goal.

Ref Watch:

Tony Bates of Staffordshire takes charge.

Next Fixtures:

An attractive home clash against West Brom for the Sky Blues on Monday night, Crystal Palace away for the Hoops.
