Coventry City vs. Colchester United

Colchester preview

Almost incidental to another week of off-field drama, the Sky Blues get set to face Colchester on Saturday and could do with a win in the wake of Tuesday's poor performance against Watford.

Vital Quotes:

'I wouldn't say I'm actively looking to bring in another defender on loan but we are always seeking new faces,' Colchester boss Geraint Williams told BBC Essex.

'It is down to individual errors at the moment. As a unit, we are not being pulled apart and losing our shape.

'We just need to improve our concentration levels.'

Coventry City Team News:

Gary Borrowdale is out with ruptured ankle ligaments, Stephen Hughes is a major doubt.

Player to watch: Elliott Ward

Poor in midweek against Watford, Ward has been the subject of transfer talk since then and needs to show why other clubs covet him.

Colchester United Team News:

Bela Balogh sustained a broken nose in the 3-1 defeat at Ipswich but could play. Karl Duguid is also back after an ankle injury.

Player to watch: Mark Yeates

The midfielder is in fine form at present and the Sky Blues will have to be wary of his free-kick ability.

Match Facts & Stats

Colchester have one win and three draws from their six away games to date, City have won two, drawn two and lost two at home.

Ref Watch:

Ray Lee of Essex takes charge.

Next Fixtures:

Stoke away for the Sky Blues, Leicester City at home for the U's.
