Wolves preview

Coventry City travel to Molineux on Saturday in good spirits on the pitch but with the club's future again a talking point after the surprise resignation of managing director Paul Fletcher.

Wolves come into the game on the back of two draws on the road, at Plymouth and Leicester.

Vital Quotes: Mick McCarthy

'Coventry are one of the sides who I felt at the start of the season will be one of those who are up there and they've had a decent start.

'Firstly that's because of Iain Dowie, who is a very good manager, and also because they've got some quality players. Of course it would be nice to go into the international break with a win but that's what they'll be thinking as well.'

Wolverhampton Wanderers Team News:

Mick McCarthy is poised to name an unchanged side with Freddy Eastwood again left on the bench.

Player to watch: Stephen Elliott

Substituted for Freddy Eastwood on Tuesday and knows that the former Southend star is breathing down his neck for a starting spot.

Coventry City Team News:

Jay Tabb and Gary Borrowdale are late fitness worries for the Sky Blues with David McNamee and Kevin Thornton ready to come in.

Player to watch: Stephen Hughes

Absolutely superb in recent games, Hughes and Michael Doyle face another tough midfield battle on Saturday.

Match Facts & Stats

Elliott Ward's own goal separated the teams at Molineux just under a year ago.

Ref Watch:

Keith Stroud of Hampshire takes charge.

Next Fixtures:

A two-week break before the Sky Blues travel to Plymouth and Wolves host Charlton Athletic.
