Coventry City vs. Bristol City

Ricoh Arena

15 September

15:00

Bristol City preview

A top-of-the-table clash for the Sky Blues after the international break and one that should attract a decent crowd to the Ricoh Arena.

Bristol City have adapted well to life in the Championship as anyone who saw them comfortably knock us out of the FA Cup last season would have predicted.

Vital Quotes:

Robins defender Bradley Orr: 'Coventry were going through a poor spell when we went there in the FA Cup and they will be far tougher opponents this time.

'They're under new management, have brought in some new players and have made a good start.

'They're top and we're trying to get there, and that will make for an even bigger occasion.'

Sky Blues boss Iain Dowie: 'We've not got a team of megastars and we don't want them.

'There are no must-picks in this squad.'

Coventry City Team News:

Arjan De Zeeuw is back to full fitness but unlikely to start.

'I won't be changing things for this weekend,' boss Iain Dowie told the Telegraph on Thursday.

'The lads played very well against Preston so there's no decision to make.'

Player to watch: Isaac Osbourne

Has been excellent at right-back so far this season and hopefully will have more chances to get forward this weekend.

Bristol City Team News:

Enoch Showunmi has failed to recover in time from a knee injury and will not make the trip.

Player to watch: Lee Trundle

Long-linked with a move to a higher division, the former Swansea City star got his chance in the summer and has so far taken it with aplomb, scoring twice in four league games.

Match Facts & Stats

Bristol City ran out easy winners on their previous visit to the Ricoh Arena, 2-0 in last season's FA Cup replay.

Ref Watch:

Mr Phil Joslin of Nottinghamshire takes charge.

Next Fixtures:

A midweek trip to Crystal Palace for the Sky Blues, West Brom at home for the Robins.
