Can City do it again?

Coventry City aim to make it three wins in a week when they take on Hull City at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday in their first home league game of the campaign.

The Tigers bounced back from an opening day defeat to Plymouth with a comfortable League Cup win against Crewe.

Vital Quotes:

Iain Dowie: 'We have made a good start and that is pleasing but I am not going to get carried away.

'Hull is next for us and it will be a very difficult
game.'

Tigers boss Phil Brown: 'It's important that we get the balance of the side on Saturday because we know it'll be a very physical game.'

Coventry City Team News:

Plenty of options for boss Iain Dowie after two comprehensive victories and goals for six of his strikers.

Player to watch: Jay Tabb

A key figure in the second-half at Barnsley last week and knows that there are plenty of people waiting to take his place if he doesn't perform.

Hull City Team News:

Michael Bridges and Stephen McPhee staked a claim to start on Saturday with goals against Crewe in the League Cup.

Player to watch: Bryan Hughes

The summer signing will battle for midfield supremacy with namesake Michael.

Match Facts & Stats

The Dowie effect was on show in last season's corresponding fixture as the Sky Blues ran out 2-0 winners in early March thanks to goals from Michael Doyle and Leon McKenzie.

Ref Watch:

Barry Knight of Kent is scheduled to take charge.

Next Fixtures:

Hull face Norwich City at home while the Sky Blues travel to Cardiff.
