Plymouth Preview

Can Hines mean goals for the Sky Blues, did Michael Mifsud use up his quota for the season by hitting five for Malta in midweek?

Coventry City take on play-off hopefuls Plymouth Argyle on Saturday once again looking for a goal and a win at the foot of the Championship.

Vital Quotes: Elliott Ward

'We want to get out of this as soon as possible.

'The goalies have been on fire against us and some time soon someone will get a bashing.

'I think we have been consistent since the new gaffer has come in, apart from two blips with the defeats at Burnley and Scunthorpe, but we have kept a few clean sheets and just need to score a few more goals, to be fair.

'We have passed the ball well and worked hard as a team defensively and created a lot of opportunities, so it is all positive.'

Coventry City Team News:

Leon Best starts a two-match ban therefore Zavon Hines could make an immediate debut.

Midfielders Michael Doyle (hernia) and Stephen Hughes (knee) are set to play on.

Player to watch: Michael Mifsud

Much more dangerous in recent weeks without getting the vital goals. His five for Malta in midweek will hopefully open the floodgates.

Plymouth Argyle Team News:

Jim Paterson is set to replace the suspended Peter Halmosi while striker Rory Fallon will undergo a late fitness test.

Player to watch: Russell Anderson

The on-loan Sunderland defender has bought a touch of class to the Pilgrims backline.

Ref Watch:

Richard Beeby of Northants takes charge.

Next Fixtures:

Sheffield Wednesday away for the Sky Blues on Tuesday, Charlton at home for the Pilgrims on Saturday.
