Matt Sparrow is suspended but Grant McCann returns after a ban. Izzy Iriekpen could also start.
The former Stoke striker has 12 league goals to his name already this season.
Stephen Hughes could be fit again after being concussed against Leicester and is set to replace Kevin Thornton.
Battled manfully against the Burnley defence on Tuesday but will need more help if City are to get three points.

Steve Bratt takes charge.
QPR at home for the Sky Blues on Wednesday, a local derby with Hull City for the Iron next Saturday.
