City shock as Dowie is axed

Iain Dowie has been sensationally sacked as Coventry City manager on Monday morning.

The Sky Blues are close to the drop zone in the Championship but there had been no calls for the manager's head from fans.

I think it's very hasty given the financial constraints he had to work under but the board probably want a bigger name to boost interest and crowds.
