Dowie on 'cruel' defeat

Iain Dowie was left shaking his head after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Preston.

'Sometimes football can be cruel,' he said.

'I think we did more than enough to get something out of the game.

'It was a game we should never have lost. We had some decent chances.

'That's two away games in a row where we should be sitting here with two clean sheets - we've got to start turning them into results.'
