'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Page is the man at Huddersfield

Experienced central defender Robert Page has been a big hit at Huddersfield Town since leaving Coventry City on a free transfer in January.

The Terriers have kept clean sheets in all three of the games that the Welshman has played to date.

'I've been very pleased with the partnership of Robert Page and Nathan Clarke,' said manager Andy Ritchie.

'Rob has come in and has played very well in his three appearances so far. He looks confident and in command of those around him. I think Nathan has probably benefited from his experience.

'I believe we have two very good centre-backs in Nathan and David Mirfin, but I thought both were too inexperienced to play together for long periods and so that was the reason why we wanted another centre-back.

'Robert fitted the bill perfectly. He is a very good player, as everyone has found out.'
