Transfer loose ends

Leon Best has pledged his future to Coventry City and that appears to be borne out by Nottingham Forest switching their striker chase to Watford's Will Hoskins.

A loan deal with a view to a £500,000 move for the former Rotherham United man is set to go through later this week.

The Birmingham Mail meanwhile states that a loan deal to take West Brom defender Neil Clement to the Ricoh Arena ahead of the deadline did not materialise.

Dele Adebola made his Bristol City debut at the weekend with Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins revealing that he also made a late move for the striker but could not match the terms on offer at Ashton Gate.
