Stead in, Gray out?

The Sheffield Star has again linked Coventry City with Blades striker Jon Stead ahead of next week's transfer deadline.

'We have received what I'd call half-enquiries about Jon,' boss Bryan Robson told the paper.

'But nothing like a formal bid.'

Friday's Sun meanwhile suggests Julian Gray has a 1m get-out clause in his contract and that Derby and Reading are both interested.

I would drive Gray myself, I watch him yesterday and he was walking up the pitch when we was attacking, I do not think he is interested
