City fancy a Danns

Tuesday's Sun suggests that Birmingham City midfielder Neil Danns is wanted at the Ricoh Arena.

The 700,000-rated 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact at St Andrew's but before his move there in 2006 was a key figure in Colchester's promotion-winning League One side, scoring plenty of goals from midfield.

Crystal Palace are also interested while Nottingham Forest have long been linked with the player.

*Update* Crystal Palace have announced on Tuesday afternoon that Danns has signed for them in a deal worth an initial 600,000.

Would love him too ever since he left we haven't had a goalscorer from central midfield.
