'If It's Football, It's Vital'

One in, one out at City

Iain Dowie is set to wrap up the signing of new goalkeeper in time for the game with Burnley at the weekend.

He told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: 'We're hopeful of signing a keeper but it may take another day or so.'

Midfielder Andy Gooding meanwhile has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

Update - The transfer embargo imposed on the club has now been lifted.
