'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The season is still alive

Iain Dowie wants two successive home wins to keep Coventry City's season alive going into February and beyond.

Although the play-offs look a tall order at present, City remain in the FA Cup and have a winnable home tie against Millwall in Round 4.

Ahead of the league clash with Burnley, Dowie said: 'Saturday is now a great opportunity to put a marker down and if we win that and then win an FA Cup tie we could be in the fifth round and midway in the league.

'All of a sudden it looks a different picture and that's exactly what we have got to strive for.'

No chance, but good luck after Saturday!! ;-) Responded to your taunt in Vital Burnley forum (Matchday Mayhem) by the way and asked a few questions ;-)

Given the constraints that have been place, most people would have settled for this at this stage.

Keep getting the results and you may get in to the play-offs, but it's all about consistancy!!
