'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dowie 'sorry' for display

Iain Dowie pulled no punches after Coventry City's 2-0 defeat at Leicester on Saturday.

'It was a very poor display,' he said.

'It was abject and a million miles below par.

'We have let a fantastic travelling support down badly.

'They came here in numbers expecting a performance against our local rivals and we had no guile and no craft and I have to say sorry for that.'

again another 'abject' apology for the display but look at the players that Iain has brought in and they are no improvement on what we had. Time to clear out and start again.
