'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Job done' for Dowie

Coventry City manager Iain Dowie focused on the result rather than the performance after the win over Ipswich.

'That is probably the worst we have played this season, but we still won,' he said.

'We were edgy and nervous and we didn't get our passing game going, but there was a lot of resilience and Dele Adebola has got himself a goal.

'It was case of getting it done, rather than it being pretty, but I think we deserved the rub of the green.'
