'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dowie slams 'joke' goals

Iain Dowie played the same old song after the 2-0 Boxing Day defeat by Crystal Palace.

'The two goals are a joke and when you look at the goals at Blackpool on Saturday they are poor from our point of view,' he said.

'We had a points tally in mind for this period but that has probably gone out of the window now.

'Michael Doyle has been excellent with his penalties this season so I am not going to criticise him, but at 1-1 it might have changed the face of the game.'

Basic defensive errors once again. Page needs to be given a chance on Saturday, possibly alongside Ward.
