'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dowie still upbeat

Iain Dowie saw plenty of positives in the performance after his side slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Sheffield United on Saturday.

'We had some good chances and started the second half really well, but we gave them one chance and they scored from it,' he said.

'But it certainly wasn't a negative defeat. I thought we passed the ball well but if we are struggling to score we have to be able to keep clean sheets and we are not doing that at the moment.

'We've hit a bit of a sticky patch so we have got to get back on track.'

Another big PR chance for the chairman to tell us THE FANS what is going on but he declines to talk on the local radio or come out on to the pitch to tell us what is going on-thank goodness for the EVENING TELEGRAPH.Where has all the money gone and who has been ripping usoff?
