Heath happy with City win
Assistant manager Adrian Heath spoke to the media after two Dennis Wise goals continued Coventry's much-improved recent form.
He admitted: 'I feel a bit sorry for Brighton because I don't feel they had the rub of the green.
'We had three or four games at home like that earlier in the season, but it is a good sign that we are grinding out results and we kept a clean sheet.'
City are now nearer the play-offs than the relegation zone and Heath added: 'We have to maintain the form that we're in and then who knows?
'Next week we go to Watford. If we can keep the run going, then maybe we can look at that sixth spot because we have to aim as high as we can.'
Brighton boss Mark McGhee was again left to rue the lack of attacking options available to him after some bright approach play fizzled out closer to goal.
He said: 'We know we're not a bad footballing team, but we're short of strikers.
'We are improvising, not so much with Jake Robinson, but Gary Hart is having to play as a centre-forward. We're short of an end product because of that.'
