Former boss in Birmingham frame

Ex-Coventry City manager Eric Black will be asked to succeed Steve Bruce if the Birmingham City boss decides to take the Wigan Athletic job.

Black is currently number two to Bruce at St Andrew's and the Birmingham Evening Mail suggests he could be in the frame to take over although Bruce would also want him at the JJB Stadium.
