Phillips to miss City clash

West Brom's in-form frontman Kevin Phillips will not play against Coventry on Monday night after being carried off with a knee injury against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

Boss Tony Mowbray told the club website: "No one can predict how long Kevin will be out, or whether he will require surgery.

"We've ruled him out of our thoughts for the time being."

Phillips has been enjoying an Indian summer alongside Manchester City loanee Ishmael Miller at the Hawthorns this season.

Phillips is certainly in good form this season so that could be very good news for you if he's missing.
