Stoke strengthen ahead of City clash

Stoke City have moved to bolster their squad ahead of the weekend game against Coventry City, signing central defender Leon Cort on loan from Crystal Palace ahead of a permanent £1m move in January.

Chairman Peter Coates has said that the Potters have 'significant money' to spend on new players.
