'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dowie 'proud' of Sky Blues

Iain Dowie had nothing but praise for his Coventry City side after their 2-1 defeat by West Ham on Tuesday night.

'I am very proud of the players,' he said after the Premiership side's last-gasp winner.

'They could not have done anything more.

'Obviously, it is very galling to lose in that way. There will be a few broken hearts in our dressing room.'

I can only feel sorry for you guys. Not only because we never deserved to win... but to be scored against by Carlton Cole!
