'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Sky Blue sales - yet

Incoming Coventry City chairman Joe Elliott has confirmed that Iain Dowie's squad will remain in place for the moment, as he battles to bring new investment into the club.

He told the Telegraph: 'We have a budget and we are working within that.

'We are here to run the football club and we still have budgets to pay staff and hopefully go forward.

'We have a wage bill that we believe will give us a real-istic chance of getting back to the Premier League.

'If we had got three points at Wolves we would be third in the league, so our goal remains to get to the Premiership which would massively help this football club.'
