Dowie to stay says Fletcher

Dowie to stay says Fletcher

Paul Fletcher may have left Coventry City but he expects Iain Dowie to remain at the club.

'Not for one second,' he told BBC CWR when asked if he felt the manager would join him in quitting.

'Iain Dowie, his job is to work with the team, to work with (finance director) Mal Brannigan.

'Mal is a fantastic ally to Iain Dowie. He's the one who helps him with the transfers and he helps him with the agents and the players so Iain has Mal to help him.

'And I don't think for one second that he will even think about leaving this great football club.'
