'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Julian Gray On Coventry v Charlton

Injured Coventry winger Julian Gray looks back at Wednesday's victory against Manchester United as he looks ahead to tomorrow's game against Charlton Athletic.

'The whole club is buzzing after beating Man United in the Carling Cup and what we need to do now is take that form into the league.

'Everybody approached the cup match with massive respect for United, but behind the scenes we were quietly confident that we could get a result. We have a very good team and if we get it right on the night we believe we can beat anyone. It's what the cup is all about.

'We play Charlton tomorrow and it'll be tough because they are a team that is right on form. We're at home, which is good because Charlton have been playing brilliantly at their place.

'We know that if we recreate the performance we produced against United we will win the match and that is the sort of level we'll be aiming for. If we beat them we'll be on the same points, so that is a real incentive.'
