£650,000 fee for Best

£650,000 fee for Best

Coventry City must pay an initial £650,000 to Southampton for striker Leon Best, a tribunal has declared.

The 21-year-old moved to the Ricoh Arena in the summer after the expiry of his Saints contract.

Vital View: The fee seems fair enough for a player who was in good form for Southampton towards the end of last season and has a bright future. Lets hope City can afford it especially as they will also have to fork out £400,000 for Gary Borrowdale!
