The Sky Blues showed how not to defend in their game at Ipswich on Saturday. 3 down by the 40 minute mark and in despair by the hour this was the first reality check of the season. A superb Stephen Hughes 30 yard freekick at 69 minutes was scant consolation for what had gone before.

With the M6 a temporary Sky Blue way next Wednesday let us hope that we can give United a game and who knows what might happen, this is City after all...
