A warmer reception for Dowie

A warmer reception for Dowie

Iain Dowie was the villain of the piece at Crystal Palace on Tuesday but will get a warmer reception when Coventry City travel to Ipswich on Saturday.

His former international colleague Jim Magilton, manager of the Blues, told the Ipswich Evening Star: "It looks as though Iain has found a home at Coventry.

"He has an infectious personality and his players look as though they are responding.

"He is a great bloke and I enjoy his company. We have a lot of memories from our time with Northern Ireland."
