Championship: double departure?

Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers look to be on the verge of changing their managers as the Championship season begins to hot up.

The Sky Blues late goal at Selhurst Park on Tuesday has increased the pressure on Palace manager Peter Taylor.

Chairman Simon Jordan has been quoted as saying: "My team has to start winning, whether it`s Coventry, Man City or Accrington Stanley."

John Gregory meanwhile has reportedly been told that he must deliver a win against Watford at the weekend.

Former Coventry boss Micky Adams is said to have been in the director's box for Tuesday's home defeat by Plymouth and is a candidate to take over.
