Mifsud: Malta no longer a soft touch
Coventry City fans favourite Michael Mifsud is back with the Sky Blues after picking up a knock playing for Malta against Turkey at the weekend.
The striker continued playing in the Euro 2008 qualifier, his 50th game for Malta, but has been given permission to miss the midweek friendly against Armenia.
The 2-2 draw against the Turks mean Malta now have five points in Group C, their best-ever total with three games still to play.
Mifsud told uefa.com: 'Gone are the days when Malta used to be reckoned as an easy opponent.
'Turkey are a very difficult side and getting a draw against them is ample reward for the hard work we put in.'
