City linked with Wigan stopper

Coventry City have once again been linked with a loan move for Wigan Athletic centre-half Fitz Hall.

The story stems from the fact that Iain Dowie managed the player at both Oldham and Crystal Palace but the Sky Blues are well-stocked for central defenders and have no money in the kitty for new signings at present.

Hall has said he wants to stay at the JJB Stadium rather than go out on loan and turned down a move to Charlton on deadline day.

I think we've got enough centre-halves already especially with De Zeeuw back to fitness.
