- Jay Tabb was named on the shortlist for Championship player of the month but missed out to Wolves striker Freddy Eastwood for the top award.

- Former striker Patrick Suffo is on trial at Dundee United while John Hartson has again been linked with a move to Swansea City.

- A meeting of Coventry MP's with the Transport Minister on Wednesday resulted in 'strong support' for the proposes Railway Station at the Ricoh Arena.

- Winger Julian Gray suffered a knee injury during the win over Preston.

Iain Dowie told the club website: 'Julian has gone for a scan and we are waiting for the results but hopefully the injury isn't too serious.'
