Scowcroft: City have cup chance

Summer signing Jamie Scowcroft has had to get used to playing in a number of different positions since joining the Sky Blues, but is more concerned with how the team plays, and he believes that an improving City side have a real chance of beating Middlesbrough in the FA Cup tomorrow.

'I think there's less pressure on us than there is on them, with us being the underdogs and Boro being the Premiership side,' said the former Ipswich and Leicester man.

'I think it's a good game for everyone at the club, the young players and the more experienced ones. It's a cup game, and that means anything can happen.'

However, he added a note of caution, saying: 'I know Middlesbrough are on a bit of a difficult run at the moment, but if you go through their side and look at the calibre of player they've got then you see it can only be a matter of time before they turn the corner and pick up a result.'
