'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Best is yet to come

Leon Best made his first Coventry City start against Notts County on Tuesday and duly netted his first goal for the club.

'There are still a few things that I would like to sharpen up,' the summer signing from Southampton told the Coventry Telegraph.

'In the first half the ball didn't stick enough to me and I had heavy legs waiting for my reserve tank to kick in, but in the second half I thought we over-ran them.'

Best has impressed on both the games he has played so far and believes he can partner any of the Sky Blues' other strikers.

'I can play with anyone and the gaffer can pick anyone and we can all play together, which has to be a good thing,' he added.
