City 'switched on' for the cup

Coventry City assistant manager Tim Flowers will not let the Sky Blues ease up after their excellent opening day win over Barnsley when they face Notts County in the League Cup on Tuesday.

He told The Telegraph: 'Whoever takes to the field for Coventry tonight will be 100 per cent switched on and there will be no stone left unturned in terms of preparation.

'The frame of mind is good but we will mark their cards because it is a massive game and there is no chance of complacency.

'We will look at the video of Saturday's game and there are so many positives to come out of it and what we don't want is to have people on their deck chairs.'
