County to make changes for cup tie
Notts County manager Steve Thompson is looking for some of his fringe players to make an impact in Tuesday's League Cup tie against Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.
'I will be making changes for the Carling Cup game,' said Thompson, whose side drew 1-1 at Grimsby on Saturday.
'We view the league as the most important competition, but there is no doubt we are taking the Carling Cup seriously.
'We have very good, experienced players waiting in the wings and this will be their chance to force their way into the team.'
