Kyle: I'll keep them singing

Kevin Kyle is ready to revive his Coventry City career after scoring in the opening day win over Barnsley.

The Scot earned the praise of the visiting fans for his link-up play and goal after a rough time since joining the club (not helped it must be said by his own off-field antics).

'If I carry on putting in good performances like that and getting goals then the jeers will turn to cheers,' he is quoted in the Mirror as saying.

'It was a good start to the season for myself by getting the goal. It was probably something I didn't do enough of last season.

'I heard the fans singing my name and I appreciate that. I'll bring them all round. It will take time, but I'll continue like I did today.'
