'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Sky Blue week

A Sky Blues' reserve side lost 1-0 to Hinckley United on Wednesday night. Colin Hawkins and Kevin Thornton both featured in the game.

- New signing Michael Hughes believes he can gain promotion with City. He told the Telegraph: 'I want success, I want promotion.

'Promotion is achievable. It is not some far flung dream.

'This league, believe me, is a tough league physically but quality wise, it is not great.

'And if you can put a little run together and get a little bit of confidence and consistency you are half way there.'

- Former players on the move include Youssef Safri who has joined Southampton, Ryan Lynch who has been offered a deal by Crewe Alexandra and Trevor Benjamin, who has made Hereford United his 15th club!

- John Aloisi and John Hartson have been linked with moves to Swansea City while Cedric Roussel is on trial at Dundee United.
