Kyle: ignore last season

Kevin Kyle believes he can still be a success in a Coventry City shirt after a positive pre-season and an impressive performance against Northampton.

'I was thoroughly disappointed with last season because I was a new signing with big expectations and I didn't always live up to them,' the Scotland international told The Telegraph.

'Some weeks there were glimpses of what I could do and others when I was not so good, so I went into the holidays thinking that I was going to have a right good summer and look after myself, and come back in shape and have a right good push.'
