Pre-season: Northampton next
Coventry City step up their preparations for the new season with a visit to League One Northampton Town this weekend.
New signings Leon Best and Julian Gray are set to play, with Best having impressed as a substitute at Shrewsbury on Wednesday night.
Northampton are also stepping up their plans after a win over non-league Kettering in midweek.
'We are expecting a real tough test against Coventry,' boss Stuart Gray told his club's official website.
