Adams back/De Zeeuw out

Former Coventry City manager Micky Adams is back in football as the assistant boss at Colchester United.

He replaces another man with Sky Blues' links, Mick Harford, who left earlier in the summer to join QPR.

New signing Arjan De Zeeuw meanwhile will miss the start of the season after a 'freak' training groung incident saw him damage knee ligaments.

The centre-half will be out for around six weeks.
