Sky Blues add two more

Coventry City have completed the signings of Southampton striker Leon Best and Crystal Palace defender Gary Borrowdale to add to the recent captures of Arjan De Zeeuw and Ellery Cairo.

20-year-old Best has been linked with a number of clubs this summer after the expiry of his contract at St Mary's.

Full-back Borrowdale was also a free agent but City will have to pay compensation for the duo as they are both under 24.

Best is a very good looking signing and certainly means there will be competition for places up front next season

sounds like you may have a squad strong enough to challenge for automatic promotion this season, but you need these players to sweat blood for dowie. are they prepared to do that?
