'If It's Football, It's Vital'

De Zeeuw on Dowie

Coventry City newboy Arjan De Zeeuw has spoken of the positive impression created by both Iain Dowie and the Ricoh Arena that helped him decide on a move to the Sky Blues.

'The manager is so enthusiastic, has got great desire to succeed and has not got enough words to fill a sentence when talking about the game,' said the veteran defender.

'I talked to a couple of players at Wigan who have worked with him in the past and everyone was really positive about him.'

De Zeeuw added: 'It (the Ricoh Arena) is really beautiful and has excellent facilities with the hotel and everything.'
