Flowers backs Mifsud to bloom

Flowers backs Mifsud to bloom

Coventry City assistant manager wants Michael Mifsud to build on a promising start to his Sky Blues career next season.

'Michael could be a double figures man next season,' he said.

'We just need to make sure he stays cool in front of goal because he has got everything else to his game and can create something from nothing on his own.

'At the end of the day we didn't score a lot of goals last season and that's where we are looking to improve, and hopefully Michael can help bump up the tally next season.'
