Season as it happened - March

Coventry City spring into March with a 2-0 home win over Hull City thanks to goals from Michael Doyle and Leon McKenzie.

A hard-fought draw at Colchester United follows before new boss Iain Dowie's honeymoon is extended by two excellent home displays.

Dele Adebola and Michael Mifsud are outstanding in a 2-1 victory over Wolves and combine to great effect again a few days later as Barnsley are despatched 4-1.

'I think Dele Adebola was almost unplayable,' is Dowie's verdict after the game.

'There is no question he is the strongest man in the world! You can't shift him and he's got a good touch.

'It was a very, very pleasing display. This was always going to be a difficult game and we had to make sure we started this game with a huge amount of respect for Barnsley.'
