Ipswich chairman: Lee not City-bound

Ipswich Town supremo David Sheepshanks has been quick to deny Wednesday's reports that Irish international Alan Lee was set for a move to Coventry City.

The 28-year-old striker has been linked with a move to the Ricoh Arena but the Portman Road chairman said: "We have not heard from Coventry City.

'We have not had any offers for Alan, or any of our players from any clubs.

'Jim (Magilton) has no intentions of selling Alan and all rumours about the two not getting on are absolute rubbish."
