Pre-season preferences?

Coventry City's pre-season plans for the 2007/08 season have yet to be announced but what sort of build-up should they have ahead of what will hopefully be a much more exciting campaign next time around?

A home friendly against European opposition has been mooted for August 4th but as yet no details have been forthcoming.

Are you in favour of these types of games (City were hammered by Benfica back in the 1990's in a game that severely knocked their confidence ahead of the new season) or should the build-up be less taxing?

Would a gentle stroll around the local non-league clubs be more suitable or a trip abroad to help with team 'bonding'.

Vote for your preferences in the poll on the right-hand side.

Scotland or Ireland would be my preferred choice. Not a big fan of playing home friendlies unless we could attract a really big European club.

Dublin or Belfast would be decent
