Two League One midfielders have been linked with moves to Coventry City over the weekend.
Luke Guttridge of Leyton Orient and Sean Thornton, released last week by Doncaster Rovers are the players in question.
Thornton, older brother of Sky Blues star Kevin, has a reputation as a talented but inconsistent player from his time at Sunderland where he helped the Black Cats to promotion but was then freed by boss Mick McCarthy.
Also mentioned in despatches has been American goalkeeper Kenneth Kronholm, currently with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Rangers meanwhile are keen on taking David McNamee back to the SPL while Andy Whing has been linked with a move to Leeds United.
